In this series of video lessons, your students will learn vocabulary and phrases that they can use in typical interactions while working in an office and remotely. Students will follow a new employee's journey from her first day to her first week to her first year. We specifically chose to focus on a hybrid setting since working from home is increasingly common.
Lessons are based on dialogues between a new employee, her boss, and her colleagues in the following situations:
- Onboarding
- Working Remotely
- Attending an Online Meeting
- Preparing for a Presentation
- Asking for a Raise
Each lesson contains a video with a dialogue and six phrasal verbs in the employment contexts listed above. They are all followed by several digital tasks to check comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar. The course also includes two assessments.
