Meet Angela Tribus Ramos
Angela Tribus Ramos is the associate director of English Language Programs and senior oral communications specialist at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. At Brandeis, Tribus Ramos plans, develops, and oversees all ELP services for the International Business School. She also provides consultations for graduate students, visiting scholars, postdoctoral fellows, and other ELLs at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management. She is a member of the Global Brandeis working group, whose aim is to identify and promote pathways that emphasize social justice as a primary goal of international education.
Angela is also a returned Peace Corps volunteer, and she has taught English to speakers of other languages in Ecuador, China, Costa Rica, and the US. Her research interests include communicative functions of language, nonviolent communication, and teaching speaking.
