The 1800s

Students learn about the years of American history between 1800 and 1900, including westward expansion, wars with other countries, and the US Civil War. Students will also learn about important leaders who shaped the country during this time period. In addition to watching and learning from five video lessons, students review and practice vocabulary and questions 90–99 of the US civics test.
