After doing this lesson, students will be able to say where an item is in a home. They will learn a useful tip for learning when to use _in_ or _on_ before a location. This lesson introduces rooms of the house and household items. The main verb used in this lesson is _need_.

In this basic introduction to prepositions, students learn and practice _at, on,_ and _in_ for talking about time, days, and dates. This lesson also reviews how to write and say ordinal numbers to express the date.

The aim of this lesson is to introduce students to the simple past using “be."
