Introduction to the Paraeducators Course

This unit is built around a panel interview that includes teachers, an assistant principal, and a potential teacher assistant. The teachers and assistant principal ask the candidate several questions related to the teacher assistant role. This unit includes vocabulary review, listening practice, and comprehension tasks.

Discussion of Roles & Responsibilities

Working One-on-One on Reading with a First Grader

This final assessment checks vocabulary and comprehension of the last four units in this English for Paraeducators course. 

Final Assessment

This course is centered around common scenarios that involve teacher assistants and students and/or colleagues in a school. Students learn and review important English vocabulary and phrases that paraeducators use in their day-to-day jobs.
