Mid-Course Assessment 

In this lesson, students learn to use “a” before a singular noun that begins with a consonant and “an” before a singular noun that begins with a vowel. Students also learn common vocabulary for objects and animals.

After doing this lesson, students will be able to identify many colors and types of fruit. They will also be able to express basic likes and dislikes. It is best to print or display this lesson in color. To save on color copies, you could do this lesson in groups or on a screen. The Canadian version is titled _What Colour Is It?_

Final Assessment 

An apple, a pen, two carrots... In this 4-skills course, students learn and/or review singular and plural nouns and imperative verbs. They also learn introductory English vocabulary related to a variety of themes, including  colors, fruits, and vegetables. This course reviews articles and introduces negative statements with Be. You can also use these lessons to teach students how to ask to borrow objects in the classroom/office. Content is suitable for all ages.
