Spring & Easter Collection

In this lesson, students learn about the Islamic festival of the breaking of the fast that follows the holy month of Ramadan. Students read about how Eid al-Fitr is celebrated and do some research about a related Muslim festival.

This beginner-level lesson introduces learners to the Christian holiday and related vocabulary.

Easter 

In this lesson, students learn some interesting facts and history about an important Jewish festival. Students get into groups to review vocabulary through fun sorting games, and practice if clauses through an information-gap activity.

Passover

This lesson includes a short reading about the World Cup as well as a few vocabulary review exercises. Students also read a fun story about Pickles, the World Cup hero.

World Cup 

Anzac Day is a day of remembrance for Australia and New Zealand. This lesson includes a reading about the history of this commemorative day. Students also do a dictionary activity with silent letters.
