In this resource, students learn about acids and bases. They learn about the pH scale and how to measure the acidity of a substance. This resource is particularly useful for ELs as it reviews English vocabulary and usage that is necessary for understanding whether substances are acidic, neutral, or alkaline. Students also do some research about the acidity of everyday substances such as bleach and lemon juice.
