This theme-based module on Inventions is intended as a group project that can be completed within a two- to four-week time period along with other coursework. The driving question for this project is: What is the most important invention of the 21st century? This project includes tasks that are useful for individual, peer, and group assessment. Teachers can add or remove tasks to meet students’ needs. Additional Ellii materials and resources are required or suggested throughout the Teachers’ Notes.

Note: April is National Inventors Month and makes an ideal start date for this project; however, you can also use this project at any time of the year.
